Transformation of Realities…

“This series of images was created over a two day period of intense focus, working with master printer, Erica Schneider in her print atelier, Bleu Acier ( http://www.bleuacier.com) in Tampa Florida. They are printed on a fine silky Japanese paper called Gampi. The paper is as fine as the Iris flower itself.

The Iris flower has been used through out centuries in our societies, as a depiction of supreme power and love. Mystics also believe it contains healing properties. It is a beautiful flower that stands tall, virtuous, elegant and colorful and yet fragile in its short life span. Equivalent to us, humans.
